Jay and I have dated since senior year of college at SUNY Brockport. We started out as dart partners sharing $1 PBRs at Flashes, and to my surprise our relationship strengthened and matured after we graduated and entered the "real world." We moved from Brockport to Albany to Ithaca, our current stomping ground, where Jay works as a sales executive at SunMaxx Solar and I am in business school.
The Groom - Jason
A native of Syracuse, Jason, is a true SU Orange fan who absolutely loves his family (which, of course, makes me love him even more.) Even though Jay majored in criminal justice at SUNY Brockport and worked in the NYS Inspector General's Office for three years, his passion is beer-making and he has a knack for selling technical products (like solar thermal systems.)
When Jay and I were talking about the wedding the other day, he asked me what my most important part of our wedding day is. I think we both have amazing answers. Mine is that our friends and family who have all shaped and supported us as individuals are going to share the day when we celebrate our relationship and join together forever. His answer is our vows, which is the sweetest thing he could have ever said.

The Bride - Amber
Ever since Zena Elementary School I've been a bit different (thank goodness my best friend and Maid of Honor, Heather, stuck with me for the past 25 years.) As an only child, I'm super independent, inspired by my mother, who always told me to try my best and strive towards self-sufficiency.
Also since elementary school, when learned about the 4 R's (reduce, reuse, and recycle), I have been an environmental activist, and through my parents work as volunteer fire fighters, I have always valued community service.
I am so close with my family and friends from my hometown, and because of their love and support I have grown into a confident, headstrong, and creative women who feels like I can do anything I set my mind to (especially throw a TBL wedding!)
